Art, Decor, and Positivity

I LOVE ART
I have always loved fashion, beautiful paintings, and general décor, or perhaps better stated, I love art in any form, so much so that I create it (e.g., paintings) myself. Furthermore, whenever I walk into a building (or a room) where the interior design and décor are, in my opinion, “on point”, then I always get this good, unexplainable feeling. It is that feeling that led me to put much effort into decorating my spaces, whether it was my workspace, a single room, or my entire home.
Recently, I have been watching home improvement, home makeover, and house hunting shows to gather some additional inspiration, and I feel that engaging in this activity has played a vital role in creating what I like to call my “art gallery” home. I use this term because when I first bought my place, I said I would decorate it in a similar fashion to an art gallery, and that is exactly what I have done. I personally feel as though I have benefited in many ways by doing so, and I also feel that by doing this, it is an investment, although not what some may consider to be a typical investment. The content below describes what I have noticed with myself.
That Overall Good Feeling
When I am in an environment that appeals to my visual sense, it helps me mentally. I just feel happy and content. In other words, I feel as though I have acquired some of the inspiration I need to successfully complete any necessary tasks I have planned for the day.
Enhanced Performance and Productivity
When everything is “in alignment” regarding my physical space, then I am more productive. When I write that everything is in alignment, I mean that everything is neat and in order and that I am surrounded by items that inspire me to get things done. In other words, I feel as though this alignment provides me with a mental boost, and quite often, I notice that I work more efficiently. In addition, the quality of work I produce is enhanced.
CONTENT CREATION AND THE VISUAL
Previously, I wrote that I love art, and one way I express myself is via content creation; this includes the content I post on social media. In this case, I am specifically referring to videos. During my video creation process, I strive to place myself in an area that I hope will visually appeal to the viewers. As for me, I am drawn to videos with nice imagery, and I enjoy viewing them as I scroll through my newsfeeds.
SENDING POSITIVE VIBES
Let’s face it. The world can be a bit cruel at times, and life can present various challenges at any moment. Hence, I feel as though sending some positive vibes people’s way is important. My personal opinion is that spreading positivity entails more than just words and actions. I feel it also involves other methods, such as creating art and then displaying that art (e.g., paintings) or presenting that art (e.g., poetry). As already mentioned, sharing my own artwork is my method of doing this. So, when you have the opportunity, and if you feel comfortable doing so, consider sending some positive vibes someone’s way. Also, consider allowing that individual (or those individuals) to do the same for you. It is your choice – you decide.
